Contour BIPortal 4.1 is a system for publishing interactive reports in Internet/Intranet pages, integrated into corporate website.

Contour BIPortal can be implemented with design and appearance of the customer's corporate website, so that visitors enter BIPortal by clicking a link on the main website. For corporate sites BIPortal provides security mechanism and user permissions assignment.

Content of BIPortal – reports and folder structure –  are made without programming. It does not require special skills and can be done by any non-IT specialist.

Contour BIPortal allows users to view reports in any browser and doesn’t require additional software. It has a comprehensive toolbar for managing the view

Contour BIPortal also contains CMS (Content Management System) module, which allows building whole websites and corporate portals with Contour BI integrated.

Integrated GIS

Contour BIPortal provides powerful builtin GIS (Geographical Information System), supporting maps (spatial information) formats of leading manufacturers, such as ArcGIS from ESRI, and several other formats.

The system displays multilayer maps, combining vector and raster layers, and displays statistical and business information in the form of gradient-filled regions, points, and diagrams.

Integrated full-featured GIS with Business Intelligence system gives new quality of information analysis. Map becomes part of OLAP report; all interactive manipulation of the OLAP report is immediately displayed on the map. The setup procedure of map is simplified - data layers appear on it automatically, as configured in OLAP report settings and further user actions.

Innovative statistical reports distribution system

Visitors of Contour BIPortal can copy code of a report or its fragment and paste it into their blog or website, accompanied with custom text. Users can create their own panel including elements of the report - tables, graphs, and maps - from different sites. This report will be also interactive and synchronized automatically as the source reports are updated.

This is quite new approach to report distribution, which can change our understanding of the opportunities brought by Internet.
